Fractions 5 - There are different ways to say the same fraction

1/2 = 50% = 0.5
Yep, no surprises there.
Task 1 -
Make a table of fractions/percentages/decimals, starting with 1/2...
Task 2 -
But that's not all. We can also write equivalent fractions. That's when you write the fraction in multiple ways using different number but expressing the same ratio.
1/2 = 5/10 = 72/144 = 98/196 etc
Task 3 -
Now, have a look at one of the examples of equivalent fractions you did in Task 2.
How would you represent these as a picture? diagram? shape? design? You might need to do 5 different copies of the same thing but showing the 5 different equivalent fractions.
